One work around I found is to:
1- Use Chrome instead of internet explorer, and
2- to get to the foreign asset page go to "other tax situations" and then "other tax forms" and there select the choice that gives foreign assets.
There I was able to input my info and when done i could see the 8938 show up in print section.
I noticed that saving the data does not happen consistently. Sometimes it saves and sometimes it does not. I am not sure about the behavior of the tool in this section. I defenitely agree that turbo tax has a bug in this section and needs to address it asap.

I am sorry but your instructions did not add anything to what i have been doing. I followed it and I still do not see the form 8938. Could you please help me? I paid $315 already and I am still stuck.
I agree with Alir. I know how to get to the point in your online service where I can fill all information pertaining to my 8938. But, even after doing this with all correct details, the form itself is NOT CREATED as part of the final tax return I want to e-file to IRS. What's more, when I go back to the location in Turbo-tax where I input my 8938 information, all data I typed before is not there anymore. It's not being saved!!
I already contacted the online chat service, and even your IT team couldn't have solved the problem. This is a big issue, resulted from a bug in your service!!
The only workaround I can think of now, after already paying you my $90, is to e-file without the 8938, and then submit this form by myself to IRS. Needless to point this solution is sub-optimal!

Thank you!! Finally I managed to amend 8938 to my return. A lot of frustration with having to redo the form from scratch many times due to changing browsers and OSs. Very little help from TurboTax IT. A bit disappointment TurboTax has been this time around. Will consider switching to a competitor next year
same issue, my question below (and as you'll see I thought I'd fixed it and then my info dropped again). Searching through the community I see multiple people having the same issue with TT online and TT don't address it, I don't think it's acceptable to say you need to download the desktop version to make it work (as some have suggested), or use some other workaround ...this is 2022 for xxxx sake! The online experience should be faultless, especially as people have been reporting this issue at least as far back a 2019 as far as I can see
