I am stuck in an endless loop on my Sch C Wks (rideshare driving) -- Car & Truck Expenses. Evidence written should be blank. Worksheet. I am unable to file my taxes.

I am unable to leave blank as told. I have tried all options No Entry, Evidence written yes and even Evidence written No. Keep failing. and I end up back to the same issue. Endless loop

I have the same problem. Turbotax is terrible. It is an endless loop and I deleted my car.

At the screen Did you keep track of the miles you drove, you must answer Yes, I tracked my work miles for this vehicle or you will be unable to clear Review.

The IRS requires this question because personal use vehicles are listed property about which the IRS requires special, sometimes significant disclosure.

IRS Publication 534 explains that listed property is (in part):

  • Any passenger automobile (defined later).
  • Any other property used for transportation.

Find Listed Property Defined down the left hand side of the page.

Checking the box concerning tracking miles allows TurboTax to report this listed property as the IRS requires.
