Very Possible, this is covered under HSA as long as there is a physician's diagnosis letter explaining that the procedure is medically required, meaning that it is to prevent or treat an illness or disease, and not for cosmetic purposes.

You may want to contact directly who is handling your HSA to clarify if illness and injury are considered the same in the case of your back.  This is definitely not a cosmetic purpose.
