I am getting the question "did your child under 24 earn any income?" and I don't have any children. I don't remember saying I had children and I have no dependents.

You can just say no to this question.  TurboTax has to ask since this little quirk in tax law applies to children under 24 who may not be listed on a tax return so TurboTax wouldn't otherwise know they exist.
