I am a member of a 501c7 organization. Are my dues paid to that organization a deductible

Not talking about a lot, only 550 per year, but wasn't sure if the dues were deductible

You cannot deduct dues, fees, or assessments paid to social organizations. 501(c)7 organizations are not qualified organizations.  You may be able to deduct membership fees or dues you pay to a qualified organization. However, you can deduct only the amount that is more than the value of the benefits you receive.
