I made HSA contribution through employer. No excess contribution. Didn’t have 1099-SA form because no distribution. TurboTax classified HSA contribution as other income. It’s not supposed to be taxed. How to correct this situation?

TurboTax treats the amount reported with code W in box 12 of your W-2 as an excess contribution until you complete the HSA section of TurboTax to establish your eligibility for the contribution by indicating the type of insurance coverage that you had each month of the year.
