HSA contribution rounding bug
Worked 2 jobs this year. HDHP single coverage all 12 months. Job A $862.50 HSA contribution. Job B $2,587.50 HSA contribution. Instead of adding these numbers in filling out Form 8889 line 9, TurboTax rounds each individually and then adds them, giving me $3,451.00 total for the year, or $1.00 over the limit, and thus flagging me for excess contribution.
How should I got about addressing this? If I take 1 cent from one jobs contribution and add it to the other, resulting in $862.49 and $2,587.51 respectively, Form 8889 line 9 ends up at $3,450.00 as expected.
