What is the situation?

Did your return reject because she claimed herself?  Then you will have to print and mail your return this year even if she amends.  How to Amend the current year

Or did her return reject because you already claimed her?  Then just go back though My Info and check that box.

You do not check a box for standard deduction.  The standard deduction is used automatically unless enough itemized deductions are entered that exceed the standard deduction.   If your daughter is a dependent then her standard deduction might be lower than $13,850.

The standard deduction amount for an individual who may be claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer cannot exceed the greater of $1,250 or the sum of $400 and the individual’s earned income (not to exceed the regular standard deduction amount of $13,850).

The standard (or itemized) deduction amount is shown on line 12 of your Form 1040.

Do you really mean there was confusion about whether your daughter was being claimed as a dependent on your return?  Did she file a return saying no one else can claim her?  Is your e-file being rejected?

Your dependent filed a return without saying she could be claimed on your return and your e-file was rejected?

AFTER her return has been fully processed and she has received her refund, she has to file an amended return that says she can be claimed as a dependent on someone else’s return.  Amended returns must be prepared on a Form 1040X.  It takes the IRS at least four  to six months to process an amended return.

Meanwhile, since your e-filed return has been rejected, you now have to print and mail it in to the IRS.  You will not be able to e-file. You do not have to wait for your dependent’s amended return to be processed.  Waiting for your child's amended return to be processed will not help you.  Remember that when you mail a return, you need to include copies of your W-2, etc. with your return.  Use a mailing service like certified mail that will track it so you will know that the IRS received it.

For your dependent:

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-a...

When they amend —The dependent needs to go to MY INFO, click their name, and go to the question that asked if they can be claimed as someone else’s dependent.  The answer needs to be YES.
