How do I determine my car's value as of 2015?

I drive Uber and I am itemizing my self-employment deductions.  TurboTax Self-Employed is asking me what the value of my car was as of when I started driving Uber.  So I assume this means back in 2015 when I started driving for Uber.  Correct?  And if so, how do I determine my car's value as of a past date?

Any independent valuation is fine.  You can use Kelly Blue book at kbb.com.  Use the third party sale - it will be highest.  Since you did not value it 2015, you will probably have to do something like pick a model 2 years newer. Remember, this is subjective matter and a good faith effort is enough.
