How do i delete form 2106 from state taxes. it wouldn't let me e-file.

Here’s how to delete Form 2106:

1. Tap Tax Tools in the left column
2. Then Tools
3. Select Delete a form in the centre box
4. Find Form 2106 in the FEDERAL return section and delete
5. Check your state section. If you see Form 2106, delete it there as well
6. Tap Continue With My Return at the bottom to return

Form 2106 is a federal form to claim employee business expenses. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 suspended those expenses unless you are an Armed Forces reservist, qualified performing artist, fee-basis state or local government official, or employee with impairment-related work expenses.

However, some states still allow these deductions and use Form 2106.
