Here’s how to delete Form 2106:
- Tap Tax Tools in the left column
- Then Tools
- Select Delete a form in the centre box
- Find Form 2106 in the FEDERAL return section and delete
- Check your state section. If you see Form 2106, delete it there as well
- Tap Continue With My Return at the bottom to return
Form 2106 is a federal form to claim employee business expenses. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 suspended those expenses unless you are an Armed Forces reservist, qualified performing artist, fee-basis state or local government official, or employee with impairment-related work expenses.
However, some states still allow these deductions and use Form 2106.
