How do I deduct Property Taxes paid? The return treats them as though it was a lender.

If your property taxes are paid through your lender, you report your property taxes when you input your Form 1098 interest statement.

TurboTax will move the to your Schedule A, itemized deductions form.

If you paid them yourself:

Enter 'Property Taxes' in the Search Magnifying Glass in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Select 'Jump to property taxes.'
