How do I cancel the child care credit because i couldnt get hold of the person that babysit my child

To remove the care provider from the Child and Dependent Care Credit section, go to Federal Taxes and choose Deductions and Credits.

Under Your Tax Breaks, on Child and Dependent Care Credit, choose Edit/Add (see screenshot).

On the screen Did you pay for child or dependent care in 2016? say Yes.

On the next screen, say continue

On the screen Here are your care providers. Next, we'll get your expense info. find your care giver and delete them by checking the little trash can icon.See the screenshot. 

Continue, and delete the expense for your child by checking the little trash can.
