How can I delete an erroneously entered foreign tax credit? The TT program won't let me go in to edit.

You can delete Form 1116, if you have entered incorrect information in it, but you should be able to edit what you have entered as well. 

If you delete the form, but you have a foreign tax carryover, or foreign taxes paid on 1099-DIV, the program may regenerate the form.

This is how to delete Form 1116:

1. Open your return, select Deductions & Credits.
2. Scroll down to Tax Tools on the bottom of the left side menu.
3. Select Tools.
4. Click on Delete a form (third on the list at the bottom of the screen).
5. Find Form 1116 on the list of forms.
6. Click Delete to the right.
7. Confirm your Delete.
8. Click Continue. 
9. Click Continue with my return.
