Turbotax will not let me enter my property tax deduction. A dialogue says that additional information is needed but it does not say what or how to enter the additional information.

Home is located in Abilene, Texas and taxes are based on appraised value. Thanks
So where are you trying to enter this property tax, in Schedule A? That is, in Deductions & Credits->Your Home-> Property Taxes? The screen says, "Enter the property tax you paid in 2022".
This is so straightforward that I feel sure you must be asking about somewhere else. So what exactly is TurboTax asking for, and what is the heading of the screen you are working on?
I agree, it appears to be totally straight forward but will not take my entry. The box I am attempting to enter the property taxes is under: Deductions and credits, Your Home, Property Taxes, Enter the property taxes you paid in 2022. The block has 0.00 and will not let me enter a change.
You can enter property taxes in two places in Deductions & Credits: (1) as part of Form 1098 and (2) as property tax. If you are not able to enter property tax in one section, try the other.

Try Double-clicking on the $0.
You may have a Supporting Details worksheet attached to that field.
