Home heating credit

I live in a duplex. 2units with separate utilities. I filed my tax’s with intuit . Com. I Paid for them to be filed! I have Never received my home heating credit for the past 2 years.  Why did I pay you to help me when I’ve received no help at all. The state took my credit stating that more than 1 person lives in the house. I deserve the home heating credit. No one even filed taxes from this residence.

Do you own both units in the duplex, or just one of them?

No I do not own either unit. I rent.

If the state has taken your credit from you, and you actually qualify for the credit, you should contact the state office and appeal its decision. 

According to Michigan's Home Heating Credit Information page, if you’re notified of an adjustment or denial and you disagree, you must submit an appeal in writing.  The relevant address is in the link above.
