Last tax year I had marketplace health insurance and completed form 1095-A. This tax year I do not have this insurance so I checked the "no" box when prompted about the 1095-A form. However my federal return keeps getting rejected by the IRS because they want me to attach form 1095-A. Is there another place besides the Medical section in Deductions and Credits that I need to change my health insurance status?

If you do not have a Marketplace policy in 2022, you should delete form 1095-A in your tax return.
This is how you do this:
Thank you, but neither of the forms you mention are included in my list of forms. The IRS keeps rejecting the return because it wants me to include these forms but they are not applicable this year. That is why I think there must be a question about healthcare that I answered incorrectly somewhere along the way but I cannot find anything.
Thanks for your response!
Most likely the IRS thinks you had marketplace insurance based on what is being reported to them. You may have to mail your return in or call the IRS and ask about it. Their number is 1-800-829-1040.
