This is ridiculous. The IRS says that Form 8915F-S has been released and published on January 23, 2023. We started our taxes on Feb 5, 2023. Unable to rifle due to TurboTax not having the updated version. We received a file date of 2/20 then 3/2 and now 3/9. What is going on! It does not take this long. If we’d know this was going to happen we would have used someone else. Every year it’s something with TurboTax that they have issues. Y’all need to get you TaxAct together….

Form 8915-F is currently scheduled to be released for print and e-file on March 9, 2023. You can check the form's status utilizing the form look-up tool in our Help Article. If the form becomes available sooner than the currently published date, the tool will be updated to provide the new availability date.
@HeatherPLO First we were told Feb 2 the form would be available. Logged in on Feb 3 and the new release date was scheduled for Feb 16. Logged in on Feb 16, and the new release date was scheduled for Feb 23. Then it was Mar 2, and now it is Mar 9. So at this point simply stating that the form will be available on Mar 9 is kind of ludicrous. Nobody actually believes this. And I think we all know how to look up the status of this form by now because we've been checking every week for over a month. Thousands of customers are fed up because Turbo Tax fails to provide ANY explanation as to why the date keeps getting pushed out week after week, for a form that was the same last year and the year before that. Can anyone from Turbo Tax answer that question?
It would be necessary to contact Customer Support for an explanation and to discuss future forms as we do not have access to that information in this public forum. We only have access to form availability information, such as release dates and if the forms are supported through e-file.
