form 8829 line 10 is populating with unknown and incorrect information

I'm getting a negative number on this Deductible Mortgage Interest line 10 and cannot remove it.    The amount should be zero as lines 16-22 hold expenses for the entire home which are then used to calculate line 24 for the percentage used for the home office.  This amount on line 10 is throwing an error on the 'Check for errors' feature.  I don't know where Turbo Tax is pulling this info from, or how to remove it.

Please clarify if you have reviewed Form 8829 using Forms Mode (TurboTax for Desktop) to verify the mortgage interest calculated above Line 10.

 I have the same issue.  I am using desktop version and checked the forms. TT tells me to put my entire deductible mortgage interest in easy step. This causes it to appear on line 10 and a calculation whereby I end up with a negative deduction. TT won't let me override the entry on the form. If I just put zero, it doesn't show the amount as excess interest.  Why is it putting the amount on line 10 and calculating a negative deduction? And why can't I override it?

I had to call them.  essentially it was a bug in the software - maybe still is.  I had to delete a bunch of related information and put it in again.

Thank you, cindybear.  I found in the edit menu how to override an entry.  Right-clicking doesn't bring you there.  So I was able to manually correct the entry.
