I've posted this in two other threads where the 5965 was rejected by IRS but I am wondering if my issue is unique.
I went through the forms earlier this year and it says I get like $792 back.... cool that's what I expected! Then after the update a few days ago it now says $0. I have deleted and went back through the 5965 multiple times and it always says $0. I decided to go through the form by form myself and found that they are not computing the credit correctly. I REALLY don't want to wait on hold on the phone for a turbo tax employee; has anyone else seen this specifically and reported to them?

First, be sure that your version of TurboTax is updated by going to Online > Check for Updates at the top of the screen if you are using a desktop version of the program.
After creating a test case to see if the credit is calculated properly on line 29h of Form 5695, I could not replicate the situation you described and showed. The credit is being calculated for my test case.
If you find that your program is updated to the latest version and you are still having the issue, you can consider sharing a diagnostic copy of your tax file so we can take a closer look and see if there is something else causing the result you are getting. The diagnostic file will not contain personally identifiable information, only numbers related to your tax forms.
If you would like to provide us with the diagnostic file, follow the instructions below and post the token number along with which version of TurboTax you are using in a follow-up thread.
Use these steps if you are using TurboTax Online:
If you are using a CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, use these steps:
If you are using a Mac version of TurboTax, use these steps:
Post the token number here.
Not unique, I have had several issues with this form. Now my returns have been rejected by Fed and State due to this form.Cannot get a hold of anyone. My rejection email says file after 3/6. Assuming it's a error on Turbo Tax side that will be fixed then so I can refile.
