Hi it says to enter your total roth ira contributions for 2022. It says Note: Include contributions made between Jan 1st 2023 and April 2023 that you want to include on your 2022 tax return. In 2022 I contributed X amount and I contributed Y amount in 2023. For the box "Your Roth IRA contribution", should I be including X+Y or should I be including just X? I'm not sure if I want to or if I'm supposed to include my 2023 contributions on my 2022 return as the contribution was made for 2023, and I'm planning on including this amount for my 2023 tax return.

Yes, then you would only enter X. Y will be entered next year on your 2023 tax return.
Assuming that Y was a contribution made for 2022 (not 2023), X+Y goes in the first box and just Y goes in the second box.
Y was a contribution made for 2023. Would I enter just amount X then? There is only 1 box.
Yes, then you would only enter X. Y will be entered next year on your 2023 tax return.
