Form 5695 is ready now.

Here's how you can claim the credit for energy efficient windows & doors:

1. Upon opening TurboTax, choose Deductions & Credits
2. Locate Your Home
3. Start/Revisit Home Energy Credits
4. On the Energy Efficient Home Improvements screen, select Yes then Continue.
5. Answer the next few questions until you get to Did you have any of these residential energy property costs in 2024? Exterior windows and doors are listed in the bullets. Answer yes, we made these qualified energy efficient improvements.

6. Answer the questions until you get to the screen "Tell Us How Much You Paid for Energy Efficiency Improvements." Here you enter the qualified costs.

There appears to be a bug in your Mac TT24 app.  For Heat Pumps the max credit is $2000, but your software only applies it to the $600 credit.  There is no selection for Heat pumps (electric) vs. the others, Water heaters, etc.

Going directly to the form 5695 and entering manually seems to work.  Just the guided section seems to have the issue.

OK mea culpa, I understand.  The issue is the boxes for inputting the values are so dim they are impossible to see.  There are multiple boxes to the right of the line items, and putting the value in the Heat Pump line works.

It would be nice to have the ability to set the fonts to bold, larger, more contrast, etc.  Especially on a 4k monitor, things get small and my eyes don't work like they used to.   Thanks.
