Does IRS send notice to outside of US?

I have finished my tax return filing now and I will leave US in near days.

I would like to receive a confirmation or any notice from IRS.

If I put the foreign address on the tax return, does IRS send any notice to my foreign address?

I would appreciate your help.

@CHOIK , if you  e-filed with TurboTax, then TurboTax will send you a notification of acceptance ( or rejection ) by the taxing authorities.

Generally IRS will send notices ONLY to the address shown on the return but this service is limited to US addresses.  When I was an expat, we kept an US address to receive notifications from the IRS.  Also  IRS will send refund  direct deposit ONLY to US banks   ( although a check from the IRS may be cashed at the nearest consulate bank or ( I do not know this for sure ) at American bases abroad.
