In the federal deductions & credits section of medical expenses, should medical insurance premiums that I paid through my employer be included? This section has an information tab about what are qualified medical expenses, which lists payments to doctors/dentists, hospital fees, prescriptions, etc. but it does not specifically mention health insurance cost so I wanted to check. Thanks!

No.
Health insurance premiums paid by your employer and reported with a code of DD in box 12 of your W-2 are already tax-advantaged (they are removed from Wages in box 1 before your W-2 is printed), so you may not double dip by reporting them on your Schedule A.
I am assuming that this is really regular employer health insurance and not something special that you are paying for with after-tax dollars.

Yes you can, I have been doing it for years since I checked with the Tax Department, Moreover my employeer
now includes it on my T4 line 135. It is good but it creates a problem since the premium shows on line 107
where do you show the real medical expenses.
@8sopranos1 Your T4?
