do I need to submit form 8453 along with 1099-B

Hi,

My Financial company sent me a 1099-B with the following "short term basis not reported to IRS".

I am creating individual stock list (instead of sum up).

(1) Do I need to submit form 8453 along with a copy of my 1099-B?

(2) Even on form 8453 (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8453.pdf), I don't see 1099-B in the list to check on.

Please let me know.

No, if you are entering each individual sale reported on your Form 1099-B as part of your return, then there is no need to submit anything by mail to the IRS pertaining to stock sales.
