Do i have to file a return to other state if nothing owed

I reside in NC but have a rental property in PA. I owe $0 to PA state. Do I still have to file a return to PA?

Even though you do not owe PA, you must file the return showing that you do not owe any tax on the rental property in the state. Otherwise, they may send a correspondence requesting that you file because of the rental property in the state.
