Do I claim Gofundme donations I received?

I created a Gofundme account to raise money for a group of feral cats. Do I have to claim this on my taxes or is this a "gift" as mentioned on their website? I'm in NC...

This would be considered a personal gift and therefore cannot be taxed as income.
