Dependent Care FSA being shown as income for Husband and being added to my AGI

Hi,

My employer put my dependent care FSA contributions in box 10 on my W2. When I go to complete my return, it is showing that this amount is income for my husband and it appears a portion is being added to my AGI. What am I doing wrong? Why the Turbo Tax system do this?

this happens because you entered your W-2 first.  you must complete the dependent worksheet and form 2441.

you'll find it under deduction and credits > you and your family.> child and dependent care credit.

almost forgot did you indicate the w-2 was for you. it depends who's listed first at the top of the 1040. the second one listed is the spouse.
