My wife and I are married filing separate. She claims both kids and one is in daycare. My job provide an FSA dependent care account of $5000. I am not claiming them on my return but once I enter the information for the dependent care credit it confirms I am not eligible for it but once finished it shows as "not started" when I am using turbo tax online.
Is there something that I am missing for this section to be completed?

No. Since you are not eligible, it removes all the information.
You are not eligible for the dependent care credit since you are not claiming the kids and married filing separate. The $5,000 will now be taxable as income.
If you are going to continue filing separately, there is no benefit to participating in a FSA.
I know that I am not able to claim the credit and I do not wish to claim since my wife claims the kids. The issue is that since Box 10 is completed on my W2 for dependent care spending FSA Turbo Tax online is requiring me to complete this section. When I go through and complete it the system tells me I'm not eligible. When I finish and hit done it takes me back to the deductions/credits section and says I have "not started".
Is there a reason Turbo Tax will not register that I have already completed this section? This issue is preventing my taxes from being accepted.
I went through and cleared history/cache on my computer, restarted my tax filings, re-entered all information but still this section has a snag.
I understand that you're filing separately.

Our other child is in school and my wife does work. There is no child care cost for a provider with our other child.
What steps do I need to take to get the child care credit section completed since the system will not accept that this section has been filled out.
I see that you have two options:
These are both personal decisions.
My wife's return was already filed and accepted claiming both children so I wouldn't be able to amend her return.
Actually, when a return is filed and accepted and you want to make changes, that is when you would amend the return.
