on the check deductions and credit page and on the deductions portion  the numbers don't add up.

this is how it reads.   OBI                                  3,872

       Standard Deduction                                26,100

Ded Self Employment Tax                               1,472

                           TOTAL                                      31,744

When you add this all up it comes to   31,444.     why is there a difference of  300 dollars?

Did you claim the $300 for cash charitable contributions?    These get added in to the deductions, but they are not listed there because they are technically an adjustment to income if you are taking the standard deduction.    Look on Line 10b of Form 1040.   If you see $300 there, that is the difference.
