Deduction for self employed dental premiums - where to enter?

I am self-employed and have separate health and dental plans, purchased through my state's marketplace/exchange.

Per the instructions for "Self-Employed Health Insurance Paid":

Do not include health insurance purchased through a Health Insurance Marketplace (also known as an exchange). These premiums are entered on Form 1095-A in the program.

So, I'm assuming amounts I enter from a 1095-A will flow through to Schedule 1 Line 16.

That's fine for health premiums, but standalone dental plans don't issue a 1095-A. So where's the right place to enter those amounts?

I've seen a few posts that indicate it should be entered directly on Schedule C? Maybe that's true, but that seems to run counter to how it was in years past, where only premiums paid for employees went on Schedule C and your own premiums went on Schedule 1.

I'd be thankful if someone familiar with this could confirm the correct method.

Thanks!

Correct it is only entered in the 1095-a entry section .... Screen instructions carefully it tells you so.

Deduction for self employed dental premiums - where to enter?

I had the same question about where to enter dental premiums for myself (self-employed). I found this in the instructions for completing Form 1095-A on the IRS site:

"If the tax filer’s family is also enrolled in a stand-alone dental plan, any advance credit payments allocated to the stand-alone dental plan should be added to the advance credit payments allocated to one of the policies reported on a Form 1095-A."

So, I think the 1095-A includes dental premiums.  Based on this paragraph, I'm not entering them separately anywhere else.   I'm not a tax expert, just noting what I found.

I also had the same question, but no you are not correct; Form 1095-A does not include dental insurance premiums.
