Co-op taxes SALT deduction

Is anyone using line 6 (instead of 5b) for property taxes paid as part of maintenance to the co-op management?

That sounds a bit risky, not unlike using Section 212 (Schedule A, Line 6) for real estate taxes on real estate held for investment purposes.
