CME deduction

Hello

I'm a physician and I get Continual medical education reimbursement from my employer after submitting receipts and the reimbursement is usually disbursed with my normal paycheck. I noticed on my paycheck that the CME is not counted under federal taxed income but it is counted under medicare taxed income. In this case, am I still allowed to deduct CME when I file my annual taxes?
