Where do I claim my NY income tax as a credit on my Ct income tax. I live in Connecticut and telecommuted for a NY based company

First, please ensure that you complete your nonresident New York return first. This will ensure accurate calculations on your Connecticut return. Once that is complete, start your Connecticut return. Continue through your Connecticut return until you get to the screen Other State Tax Credit Summary. Click Edit next to New York and your tax liability should have flowed directly from your nonresident return.

Oh that could be the issue bc I did the Ct return first.  Okay thank you!
