Yes, you can but better categories may be Contract Labor or Legal and professional services. 

1. Remember, if you pay any individual $600 or more, you'll have to issue Form 1099-MISC so make sure you always have them fill out IRS Form W-9. 
2. You may use TurboTax Quick Employer Forms to issue Form 1099-MISC.
