Can I deduct the costs I incurred for an agency to prepare and file appeals for denials by my insurance company?

no at best the costs would have been only deductible  as a misc itemized deduction subject to 2% AGI limit.  However, the deduction for these types of expenses were eliminated for 2018-2025.  theses expenses wouldn't qualify as medical expenses.

what type of claims were denied?  was it for personal losses or business losses?
