Can i deduct my car registration fees
I purchased a new car in Texas, in 2016. The receipt lists a registration fee of $70.00. Does it matter that I live in Texas? Can I deduct this fee?

No, the registration fee is not deductible. The tax deduction only includes the personal property tax portion that the state charged you for taxes based on the value of your vehicle. Texas does not include this.
