Can I deduct expenses I incurred to comply with a subpoena by the prosecutor to testify in criminal court related to medical care I provided to the victim of a crime?

I was the attending provider treating a patient who later reported the need for treatment was the result of a crime against them and criminal charges were filed against the alleged responsible party.  Costs for mileage, etc. are not reimbursed by my employer.

Sorry no ... you should have gotten reimbursed from the attorney.
