Can I combine the mortgage interest and the Home equity interest, or do I have to enter them separately?
I have 2 1098 forms one for mortgage interest and one for home equity can I combine them or do I have to enter them separately. They are from the same lender.

You should report each 1098 separately on the return. The IRS will be looking for 2 separate 1098 filings on your return.
