Can I claim computer donation in my taxes?

I donated 2 laptops and a desktop computer but don't see it available in ItsDeductible. How do I claim them?

If you not did see your donated items in ItsDeductible, you may have to add it in. Once added, you can import them directly into tax return.  ItsDeductible is a free program included with any Turbo Tax such as TurboTax Deluxe, Premier, Self-employed, and Live programs   It lets you enter your charitable donations year-round and saves you time. It's available online and as a mobile app.

ItsDeductible doesn't give an option to claim a laptop or desktop. Are you saying I can add items to ItsDeductible? If so, how do I do that?

Yes, you can set up ItsDeductilble online. To set it up:

• click ItsDeductible 
• Under 2020 Donation screen, enter your personal information such as name, filing status, and income.
• Next screen is 2020 Donations, click add.  Enter your donations per type such as clothing, electronics, stocks, bonds, and mileage.

I had already entered my deductions into TurboTax using ItsDeductible estimates. I can enter 3 of my donations with computers in ItsDeductible but how do I export it from there to TurboTax itself? Once I enter a donation in ItsDeductible, I don't see it reflected in TurboTax.

Please enter the additional donations under Deductions & Credits. 

OR you may find this article helpful:

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. Search for donations and select the Jump to link.
3. Answer Yes to Did you make any donations to charity? 
4. On the next screen, answer Yes to Do you have an account with ItsDeductible Online?
5. Your donations will automatically load as long as you're using the same account for both ItsDeductible and TurboTax. On the next screen, select which donations you want to import and select Import Now.
6. Select Continue and review your charities on the next screen.

If you make changes to Its Deductible and want to import again, start again at step 2 above.
