Can a U.S. resident for tax purposes claim itemized deduction? (I had an F-1 visa, and Sprintax tells me I pass the Substancial Presence Test)

At the summary for my taxes, I see I'm getting an Itemized Deduction of $12,550. However, I feel I shouldn't be getting that because I'm not a resident. Does the fact that I'm now a resident for tax purposes make me elegible to claim itemized deductions? If not, how do I adjust this in Turbotax? Thanks!

If you are a resident for tax purposes there’s no reason you can’t itemize.
