bulls vs. cows

I bought a bull and 10 cows in 2019.  Do I need to depreciate the bull as well as the cows?  Or since I will need to buy a new bull every couple of years, can I deduct him?

The bull would receive the same treatment as the cows.

Do most people use a 7 year depreciation on cows?  Their productive life should be about 8 years.  On the bull though, his productive life will be 3-5 years.  Should I treat him differently in that respect?
