Are premiums paid for Employer-offered health insurance the same as premiums paid for long-term care insurance?

No, health insurance premiums paid for your Employer Insurance are different than Long Term Care Premiums, which are usually paid directly by you to the insurance company, and are deductible as a Medical Expenses, if you itemize deductions.

Long Term Care Insurance covers custodial care expenses.
