Yes. You can claim the mileage for the entire trip. The 2017 medical mileage rate is 17 cents per mile.

You may also claim meals and lodging at a hospital or similar institution if a principal reason for being there is to receive medical care. Please view page 10 and page 14 in IRS Publication 502 below for more information.
