Are hand controls used for driving a car tax deductible?

Are hand controls for driving deductible.

If you require hand controls due to an injury or disability, the conversion cost is a deductible medical expense.  However, because of the overall limits on medical expense deductions, you may not see an actual tax benefit unless you have a lot more medical expenses.
