Per the IRS, you can include in medical expenses amounts you pay for legal operations that aren't for unnecessary cosmetic surgery.

Note that medical expenses are only deductible if you itemize deductions on your return.  Plus only the amount of your deductible medical expenses that exceed 7.5% of your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) are included in your itemized deduction total.
