Another DEFECT in Calculation - Home Office Asset Summary always shows ZERO, irrespective of whatever amount is entered in the form.
It is very bad that TurboTax released the online version without proper testing.
All waste of time, I think, I would have to use other free versions, there is NO purpose to pay $ 160+ for premium TurboTax and facing these defects in calculations.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you are trying to enter expenses from self-employment you are entering them in the wrong place, TurboTax Premier doesn't have those forms.
If you are trying to enter expenses for your W-2 income, they no longer deductible (and that's the section you are in, I am pretty sure, and why you are seeing zeros.)
These aren't product defects, they are entry errors.
I can see from your post that you have the "Live" version of TurboTax - take advantage of it and click where it says Live Help. That will help you connect to an agent who can see your screen and walk you through the steps to get things in the right place to accomplish what you're after and end your frustration. No need to stay frustrated when you have that lifeline right there available to use!
