I messed up on my 2020 tax return and put a ridiculously amount of money made by mistake. Why is turbo tax not allowing me to amend it?

Did you file it?  Was it accepted?

Yes and I received my return, but when I looked back at my documents I realized that I made a bunch of mistakes and now it’s not allowing me to amend it

What do you mean "not allowing"?

The IRS is not requiring unemployment tax filers to amend their returns to update it with the unemployment exclusion. So, it may take some time before you can amend your return if you've included the 1099-G in your tax return. Once the IRS has made the changes, you may be able to amend it afterward.
