Accidentally input foreign wages and need to delete that information. How do I do that?

Please follow the steps below to remove Form 2555-T(Foreign Income).

To Remove Form 2555-T in TurboTax Online:

1. Go to "My Account" in the top right corner

2. Select "Tools"

3. Under "Tools Center" select "Delete a Form"

4.  Navigate to "Form 2555-T" and select "Delete" next to it

Tip: The -T or -S suffix after the 2555 stands for taxpayer or spouse, respectively.

To remove wages accidently entered as foreign wages, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Income and Expenses

2. Next to Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion , click the Edit button.

3. On the Did You Make Any Money Outside the United States? screen, click the Continue button. 

4. On the What Form(s) Was Foreign Income Reported On? screen, click the Continue button. 

5.On the Enter Your Foreign Earned Wages screen, navigate to the field with the incorrect wages and remove the wages accidently entered and click Continue. 

6. Continue to navigate through each screen clicking  Continue until you reach the Delete Form 2555 screen, and click Continue.

7. On the Confirm Delete 2555 screen, click Continue.

You will be able to confirm on the Income and Expense summary screen there are no longer an entry for Foreign Earned Income and Exclusions.
