Business income you receive that is reported to you on Form 1099-NEC should be reported on your Schedule C.  Your net income, after deducting expenses from your Schedule C will then flow to your Form 1040.  So it is business income that is reported on your personal tax return.  I'm not sure what you mean by "personal income".   You only report it once.  You wouldn't add your 1099-NEC income to Schedule C and also add it to other income on your return.

Appreciate your help. I only enter the info and let TT handle the c forms etc. I was puzzled because one year it showed up what appears to be twice, this time I don’t see it on personal income.
