I enrolled in healthcare in 2024 thinking my son was a dependent. I realized while doing my taxes I cannot claim him this year. I have 2 1095-As. One for me and one for my son (different policy numbers). The forms have the combined SLCSP in Part III Column B. I used the Health coverage tax tool on Healthcare.gov to determine the correct SLCSP for each of us. Can I just use my 1095 on my tax return and his 1095 on his tax return and use the correct SLCSP calculation I got for each of us from the tax tool? The total of the 2 calculations (mine and his) from the tax tool equal the SLCSP shown on each 1095-A.
